leveraging opportunities through access to high profile talent;
medium to long term marketing opportunities in key markets;
domestic and international broadcast, and media coverage.
State Significant Event Fund
The NSW Government is calling for event organisers and promoters to put forward events that will turbocharge the State’s visitor economy through a bumper event calendar in 2022 and beyond.
The State Significant Event Fund has been re-profiled up until 2023, to support the recovery of the events industry.
Expressions of Interest (EOI) submissions are now being accepted for events that can be delivered from 2022 and support the State on a fast-track to recovery. Events proposed to be held before 30 June 2022 are encouraged to submit their EOI by Monday 20 December 2021.
The State Significant Event Fund is a contestable fund that is designed to enable accelerated investment to secure, acquire and develop signature events of national and international significance.
